It's been one hell of a freakin' winter here and easily the worst I have experienced in my 10 years in this city...Berlin that is.  But I've also had enough of the huffing and puffing and whining about the weather and it's about time to get my head out of the sand - or snow I guess would be more appropriate - and take some action. 

This hibernation phase over the past couple of months gave me a lot of time to finally get some musical ideas into some sort of proper shape and now it looks like I am well on my way to a debut album with more than enough "songs" that just need some finishing touches and a bit of polishing.  And why the quotation marks around "songs"?  Because these compositions are not really songs in the classic sense, more like soundscapes with a lyrical aspect.  Probably better to call them "pieces" or "tracks".   The pic below shows where this process has taken place...home sweet home studio!

So screw the weather!  It's time to get on with things and set my plans for world domination in motion!
